Season Closer: USA Triathlon Long Course National Championships (Redman Triathlon, Oklahoma City, OK) - Katie's Race Report
TRAVEL DAY (THURSDAY) On my morning commute to Manhattan, with all my luggage in-tow to go to Newark directly from work, I realized I didn't have my driver's license! (kind of essential for a rental car) The night before - when I went to the pool - I had taken it out of my wallet, so I didn't have to carry my whole purse with me. Problem was I never put it back IN my wallet. Ugh. After some frantic calls, turns out I left my driver's license and credit card in the car....which was with Zach....in Connecticut. By this time, I was waiting for a bus to Newark - which never came, thanks to the Pope's visit altering traffic patterns. Grrrr. Really, the day could not get any worse. I had 3 hours until my flight, and Zach said he'd drive to Newark to hand-off my license and credit card. Now I had to figure out how I was getting to Newark.
